Hotel Penwig offers a lovely getaway in New Quay, right on the beachfront with stunning views of Cardigan Bay—ideal for both relaxation and landscape photography! My room, with its three expansive windows, provided the perfect perch to capture the vibrant scenery and perhaps spot a dolphin or two. The warm welcome from Stuart and Mandy made us feel instantly at home, and though there was a hiccup with the kitchen being closed due to a fire, we discovered delightful local alternatives, especially the fresh pasties that were simply superb! The breakfasts served were hearty, featuring warm, crispy baguettes that paired beautifully with the stunning sea views—perfect fuel for our explorations of Dolau Beach. If you’re seeking friendly, attentive staff and comfortable amenities in a spectacular location, Hotel Penwig is definitely a place I’d love to revisit. Can't wait for another photography adventure with friends by my side!
